Rainy Days & First Monday

This past weekend was First Monday, also known as Trade Days, in Canton, Texas. We have one of the largest Flea Markets in the world, if not "the" largest. It is really quite an experience to come to First Monday. It is the weekend of the first Monday of each month. It isn't open on Monday, though. Just the Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the first Monday of the month. As you can imagine, most months there are tourists in town on the first Monday of the month wondering where all the vendors went!
My husband and I always go to First Monday. Our small town grows considerably in number those few days of the month and there are always interesting things to see. Vendors come from all over the country to set up their booths. There is everything imaginable-new or used. And for some odd reason it seems to rain so many of those weekends! Well, we had a break in the cold, rainy weather this past Sunday afternoon, so we headed to First Monday grounds to see what we could find. Ben, my husband, bought me a used cello for quite a steal! It is pictured below. I guess I'll need to find a way to take lessons.

Ben is also pictured below doing his favorite thing-napping in the recliner. Take note of his left hand. It's on the remote-even in his sleep!

Nothing else going on today, so I'll close.
